SandRid Psyllium Pellets for Horses ~ 5lb

Apple and molasses flavored 100% psyllium pellet for horses with high swell volume helps encapsulate and remove sand and dirt from the intestinal tract. SandRid can also be used for constipation resulting from too little fiber in the diet or to increase stool consistency in situations with watery diarrhea. Easy to feed as a top dress or alone.

Each scoop contains 140,000 mg psyllium seed husk. Directions: 1-1.5 scoops daily for 7 days every month. Can be given during or after meal time. 5.2 oz scoop enclosed.

2.3 lb tub offers a 7-day purge for one horse. Perfect for travel or to try. Earth-friendly, resealable package.

Did you know?
By swelling after absorbing water, psyllium increases bulk in the intestinal tract and is believed to induce peristalsis and decrease intestinal transit time. In the treatment of sand colic in horses, psyllium is thought to help collect sand and to help lubricate its passage through the intestinal tract.
