Tannery Run grade allows some natural imperfections and scars to show, but those won't affect the wearing quality of the gloves. Glove wearing quality is generally determined by the weight and type of leather used. Deerskin is strong, durable, supple, and comfortable.

Gloves in normal use require little care. If they are usually kept dry, they will pick up natural oils from the skin to keep them supple. If your Geier Deerskin Roper Gloves become wet, and somewhat stiff after air-drying, they will soon soften with wear. It is important to not dry gloves over direct heat.
